Who sees what you send

Only the organisers of the family that shared the link with you. Other contributors cannot see your answers, and a contribution link never lets anyone view the family's information.

Review before anything is added

Each answer is stored as it was sent. Organisers decide whether it describes someone already recorded and how people connect. Nothing is merged or connected automatically.

Who sees the tree

Family trees are private. Organisers choose when to share the reviewed tree with invited relatives. There is no public directory of people. Full birthdays are only visible to organisers; invited relatives see birth years at most.

Entering details for someone else

You can add children, elders or relatives who have passed away. Please only share details you believe the person would be comfortable including in their family's record.

Correcting or removing your entry

After you submit, you receive a private correction link that opens only that entry. Use it to fix or remove what you sent. If you lose it, contact the family organiser — they can correct or remove the entry for you.

Removing someone from a family tree

Contact the family organiser. Organisers can edit or delete records, and the clan owner can delete the whole clan and everything in it.
